in a truly exciting, nailbiting, outstanding 10 inning ballgame, the Knox Redskins edged out the South Central Satellites 3-2. 3 different pitchers for South Central gave up 10 hits to the Redskins while McKenzie McIntire went the distance, only giving up one earned run to Brewer on a home run in the 6th that looked like the Satellites would walk away from Redskin Field handing the Redskins their only loss at home. Not to be as the ‘Skins rallied in the bottom of the 7th to tie the score and then push across the winning run in the 10th on an error. McIntire was again amazing as she struck out 16, only walking 1 hitter in 10 innings while scattering only 6 hits over those 10 innings.

McIntire and Courtney Singleton both had doubles that led to Redskins runs. McIntire, Mariah McKee and MaKenzie Morgan all had multiple hits.

The Redskin infield of Libby McEntee at first, Courtney Singleton at second, Leslie Kroft at short and Trishta Brewer were superb as they did not commit an error and fielded numerous bunt attempts with precision.

Truly a an outstanding team win with crucial plays at crucial times. The Skins improve to 15-2 while ranked South Central falls to 17-8.
