The Knox Redskins combined outstanding pitching and timely hitting to triumph on the road over CMA 7-1. McKenzie McIntire struck out nine, walked one and gave up no earned run in this hard fought victory. The game had special significance as these two squads could square off in the Sectional in two weeks.

McIntire lead the Redskins in hitting also as she had 3 hits, while batterymate MaKenzie Morgan, Trishta Brewer, Riley Goetz and Jayla Smith had 2 each. Goetz drove in 4 runs while picking up a triple. Brewer, Hannah Smith, and Sarah Stephenson also drove in runs.

CMA threatened but was either driven back by key strike outs and Knox had a couple of sparkling defensive plays, one on a backhand smash at third by Brewer and one on great job by Williams of coming off the line to snare a throw and tag the runner with runners on base.
